Rize is designed to help you save before you spend. We recommend connecting your most active checking account. Your Rize savings are like a direct saving deposit right from your paycheck, so you will want to make sure you connect an account you can save from. To keep all our Rizers safe, each Rize account will an only connect to one bank account.
Rize is all about saving your money. There are no fees and no hidden costs to use Rize. We ask you to tell us what Rize is worth to you. You have the option to contribute a small amount from your savings each month to help us keep making Rize better for you. The choice is all yours.
Deposits can fail for one of two reasons: either Rize had a hiccup connecting with your bank or your bank stopped the funds from being released.
Rize connects with your checking account to automatically help you save. Sometimes transfers fail because we lost the connection with your bank. When you login you will be prompted to reconnect your bank. Our support team is here and happy to help - you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A deposit can also fail because your bank rejected a transfer. On your scheduled deposit date Rize checks your bank account balance to protect you from overdraft. Due to the 2-3 day processing period your account balance may change causing your bank to reject the transfer. When your bank rejects a deposit, the automated clearing house Rize works with will charge your Rize account $30 for the reversal.
For details on a failed transfer please reach out to our support team email@example.com.
